feedback

As mentioned in the leaflet Brathay is an educational charity, established in 1946, which is concerned with development of individuals, team, organizations and communities. Present clients include companies from every sector, and around 500 event and courses were run by brathay last year, mainly in the UK, but also including work in North America, Singapore and mainland Europe. Brathay's connection with Manchester Business School began in 1980s.

The learning method is basically the same as other team builder organization in Indonesia. We were doing adrenaline sport to kill our fear, and encourage us to be more involved in the team, personally and professionally. So, basically there is nothing special with the program in term of its outdoors activities. Thing that make it different with Indonesian outbound style is its feedback session, the part I hate and I love all at once. Each of us had to give both positive (things related to our positive value in group) and negative feedback. For Indonesian, giving feedback, particularly    negative feedback could be considered as disrespectful or sometimes insulting.

However, in my point of view, giving feedback is a tool for us to be more developed. By receiving feedback we are able to distinguish what we have and have not to do in particular environment as well as an edge to behave for certain person or communities.
